Clever
Portland Schools is utilizing Clever as a portal for educational resources at the PreK - 12th grade levels and as a rostering tool for many applications like Seesaw, Learnzillion, Go2Science and many others.
Portland Schools has purchased Seesaw for Schools for students in grades PK-5.
Use potentials include:
Digital portfolio to capture what students are learning with sharing capabilities.
Making visible thinking and recording it by using creative tools. These include: self-chosen response modalities including the camera for still photos or video recordings of work. The audio feature allows for voice or screencast responses. Drawing and typing tools allow for writing and annotation.
Activities can be created by teachers, shared to other teachers using the District or School Library, pushed out with the opportunity for feedback to be given.
Resources can be linked for students including a Google Meet link.
"Progress" allows teachers to tag standards and monitor progress.
The blog feature can be used to share student work and engage in discourse.
